Analysis of Ultrasonic Vocalizations of Animals |
Analyzing "Animal Language" |
Sonotrack is an advanced non-invasive measurement system to record, analyze and playback ultrasonic vocalizations (USV) of mice, rats and other species.
Sonotrack is the only recording system which is designed for laboratory use and high-throughput analysis of USV. It records the full spectrum of ultrasonic vocalizations from 15 kHz to 125 kHz without limitations for the "recording duration". The ultralow-noise amplifiers and highly sensitive microphones provide unrivalled quality of the recorded signals.
Sonotrack provides detailed and relevant information about the ultrasonic vocalizations. It converts the ultrasounds in for humans audible sound signals, calculates a large number of bioacoustic parameters and provides zoomable spectrograms and other graphical presentations of the recorded calls (USV). The automatic "USV Counter" or Call Counter" makes it possible to analyze your recorded signals automatically and reliably, saving a lot of time.
Metris is also the first company to provide software for "Automated USV Classification" or "Automated Call Classification" for mice by automatically grouping the detected calls into 15 different categories or types of calls.
